What Is the Longest Winning Streak in Major League Baseball?

The New York Giants of 1916 hold the record for the longest winning streak in the history of Major League Baseball. During that season, they triumphed in 26 games in a row. This winning run, on the other hand, contained a draw, which did not contribute to the streak’s total.

The Chicago Cubs now hold the record for the longest winning streak that did not include a tie throughout their run. In 1935, the Cubs went on a winning streak that lasted 21 games. After 20 consecutive victories, the Oakland Athletics were so close to surpassing the record set by the Cubs in 2002, but they ended up falling short. Carl Hubbell holds the record for most consecutive wins by a pitcher, having accomplished this feat during the 1936 and 1937 seasons to the tune of 24 victories in a row. Since there were three draws during this winning run, it would be more accurate to refer to it as the “most games without suffering a defeat.”
